CHICAGO, October 28, 2019–EnsembleIQ Chief Executive Officer Jennifer Litterick today announced the following appointments, strengthening the company’s leadership team to align with a new vision and mission.
Jane Volland has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer. EnsembleIQ will continue to benefit from her strong knowledge and experience of financials in the B2B publishing industry. Vice President of Finance Tarun Patel will assume more responsibility, with day to day accounting and finance operations. To further strengthen the finance team, Matt Anstandig has been promoted to Director of Financial Systems & Analysis, and Ravi Patel to Senior Financial Analyst.
Tanner Van Dusen has been promoted to Chief Innovation Officer and Managing Director of the Path to Purchase Institute. Tanner will be especially focused on establishing a new EnsembleIQ vision and a re-imagined framework for the Institute that will drive growth for both EnsembleIQ and Institute members. Tanner is uniquely qualified to take on this role, given the depth and breadth of her experience across EnsembleIQ, as well as her demonstrated creativity, strategic thinking and leadership skills. Tanner will retain her role as Chief Innovation Officer, as there is no better place to infuse innovation than in The Path to Purchase Institute. The “path to purchase” is truly the one area that binds all EnsembleIQ brands together; helping leaders understand the complexity of the evolving path to purchase–and how it impacts the future of commerce is critical to all of our brands and should underpin and infuse our content and strategy across the entire portfolio. In her new role, she will oversee the Institute, research and marketing.
Lina Trunina has been promoted to Senior Director of Audience Development. Lina has successfully grown all the audiences across EnsembleIQ Canadian brands during the past 2 years. She is a strategic thinker with a collaborative style and works in partnership with EnsembleIQ Brand Directors to help drive audience growth and quality in order to grow the business. She will now oversee audience development for all of EnsembleIQ, primarily supported by Data Manager Neal Kahn.
Finally, we are excited to announce that Joe Territo will be joining our leadership team as our Senior Vice President of Content, starting on November 1st. In this new role, Joe will oversee content strategy and new product development for all of EnsembleIQ’s brands across the grocery, convenience, health and wellness, path to purchase and technology sectors on all platforms–including digital, events, and print. Joe will create and launch a connected content strategy, expand our digital footprint, and provide content marketing direction to increase our value. Joe will partner with the editors to create requirements, processes, and training to elevate our content and audience engagement. Responding to the rapidly evolving needs of EnsembleIQ’s brands, Joe will function as a content innovator, working closely with the leadership team to ensure that our content and audience strategy aligns with the needs of the marketplace. He will mentor our leaders and ensure our talent, performance and strategy works to grow the overall business.
Joe brings to EnsembleIQ more than two decades of cross-functional business-to-business and consumer content and digital leadership experience. His career has consistently focused on digital transformation and growth, by seizing emerging market opportunities, deploying relevant technologies, and analyzing competition to set and achieve ambitious, mission-critical goals. He previously served as Chief Content Officer at NewBay (prior to its acquisition by Future plc), and Penton (prior to acquisition by Informa). He also provided consulting services to Bobit Business Media, Hanley Wood and Northstar Travel Media. Before transitioning into B2B, Joe held consumer content executive positions with Newhouse’s Advance Local, and Time Inc.
