JENNIFER LITTERICK

Chief Executive Officer

Jennifer Litterick was appointed chief executive officer of EnsembleIQ to define and execute a new company vision. Jennifer specializes in turning challenged businesses into high-performing assets by quickly assessing changing market opportunities, talent needs and core strategy to ensure revenue and growth objectives are reached.

 

She has especially focused on transforming EnsembleIQ into a North American business intelligence company. Jennifer rebuilt the company’s executive leadership team with a focus on innovation, and she created a performance-based culture rooted in nurturing and recruiting high-performing employees--driving company growth.

 

Jennifer has guided her team with grace through challenging times. She leveraged the importance of the markets served by EnsembleIQ--goods and services providing industries including retail and healthcare that were officially deemed “essential” during the COVID-19 pandemic--to instill a purpose-driven culture. At the same time, Jennifer developed innovative, new educational Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs for employees.

 

Prior to becoming CEO, Jennifer held several management positions within EnsembleIQ: President, Retail Vertical, where her initial portfolio of Canadian brands expanded to include oversight of U.S. brands focused on retail; chief brand officer, North America, where she oversaw all P&L owners of both retail and non-retail brands; president, EnsembleIQ Canada; and group publisher, Canadian Grocer and Your Convenience Manager.

 

In addition to EnsembleIQ, Jennifer also achieved success at Rogers Media, managing their retail and marketing portfolio, and at TIME Canada, working on iconic brands such as TIME, Fortune and People--and launching the company’s custom content division. Highly engaged in the industries she serves, Jennifer has developed and launched new ideas to help solve industry issues and connect stakeholders. Some leading examples are the Canadian Grocer’s Star Women award, the CEO Thought Leadership conference, and the Generation Next award.

ANN JADOWN

Chief People Officer

Ann Jadown leads all aspects of EnsembleIQ’s people strategy. She hires innovative talent with skills supporting growth initiatives and attributes fitting with the team to drive EnsembleIQ’s vision to be North America's leading provider of retail, retail technology, consumer goods, healthcare, and hospitality insights and connections.

 

As chief people officer, Ann oversees talent acquisition, leadership development, performance management, employee engagement, benefits, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and company culture enhancements driving and supporting business growth.

 

In partnership with the Executive Leadership team, Ann has created a high-performance feedback culture through the establishment of a goals and development program connecting individual goals to company goals and providing frequent and targeted feedback. She also partnered with Chief Executive Officer Jennifer Litterick to create the company’s “PIVOT” (Performance, Innovation, Vision, Opportunity and Teamwork) culture, including a social engagement tool where team members enjoy fun challenges; engage with culture and diversity, equity and inclusion content; celebrate new talent and anniversaries, and stay connected while working remotely.

 

Under Ann’s leadership, the EnsembleIQ People Team has created a wellbeing initiative, increased recognition programs, and launched a bi-annual culture assessment to identify areas of strength and action planning for continuous improvement, which is strengthening talent recruitment marketing and candidate reach, EnsembleIQ branding, and external recognition of EnsembleIQ.

 

Ann previously served as human resources director for Mario Triocci Hair Salons and Day Spas, with 1,300 employees in 15 locations. Her accomplishments included creating a leadership academy to grow manager skills that led to promoting 90% from within, reducing management turnover 35%, eliminating employment claims, creating feedback culture, improving productivity with enhanced team dynamics and launching new benefits. Ann previously served in human resources leadership roles in the hospitality, retail and market research industries. 

JANE VOLLAND

Chief Financial Officer

Jane Volland is responsible for EnsembleIQ’s financial, technology and audience strategies and teams. As chief financial officer, Jane has launched and managed execution of key strategic initiatives to upgrade accounting, audience data and information technology systems, workflows and operations -- in partnership with Chief Executive Officer Jennifer Litterick.

 

A skilled financial advisor to corporate senior executives – with significant experience in financial oversight of multiple major business information companies – Jane was first brought into EnsembleIQ in 2017 as vice president of finance. In that role, Jane provided P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compensation planning, strategic planning and M&A leadership. She was promoted to chief financial officer in 2019, soon after which she took on responsibilities for also leading technology and audience strategy and execution.

 

Jane’s experiences with organizational restructuring to enhance growth and profitability have been especially valuable in collaborating with the company’s executive leadership team to drive transformation of EnsembleIQ into North America’s leading business intelligence provider.

 

She provides EnsembleIQ with valuable business insights that enable well-informed strategic management decisions. Jane is respected as an innovative business partner with strong management, analytical and communications skills – and unwavering dedication to the success of EnsembleIQ. Jane brings a wealth of knowledge from experiences with leading multiple acquisitions, divestitures and product introductions throughout her career.

 

Jane’s entire career of proven financial leadership has been in the business information industry. Prior to EnsembleIQ, Jane served as vice president of finance for the FTSE 100 company RELX (formerly Reed Business Information), one of the world’s largest global information providers. She also was chief financial officer of Putman Media and Amos Media.

DEREK ESTEY

Chief Operating Officer

Derek Estey has a proven track record of driving operational improvements to assure EnsembleIQ products cohesively fulfill the continuously evolving needs of retail, healthcare and hospitality executives and suppliers throughout North America.
 
As Chief Operating Officer, Derek is responsible for the day to day strategic operations for the company, in addition to directly overseeing digital, events, audience, design, research, custom and print operations to meet audience and customer needs across all EnsembleIQ brands. 
 
Derek joined EnsembleIQ in 2015 as part of the company’s acquisition of Fulcrum Media, where he had been an employee since 2006. He initially managed print production and design for EnsembleIQ’s Canadian brands. In 2018, his responsibilities were expanded to include oversight of those areas for the entire EnsembleIQ enterprise, including U.S. brands.
 
Between 2019 and 2021, Derek’s role grew to include oversight of EnsembleIQ digital business operations and BrandLab, the company’s award-winning comprehensive creative agency--while also playing an essential role in process and operational efficiencies across brands and shared services departments.
 
Outside of EnsembleIQ, Derek spent ten years of his career teaching project management, media technology, and design courses at Toronto Metropolitan University.

JOE TERRITO

Chief Strategy Officer

Joe Territo is a forward-thinking executive and cross-functional content, communications and marketing leader focused on seizing market opportunities, deploying relevant technologies, and analyzing competition to set and achieve ambitious, mission-critical business goals.


As Chief Strategy Officer, Joe is responsible for developing and activating integrated content, communications and marketing strategies; leveraging editorial insights to attract and engage retail, technology, consumer goods, healthcare, and hospitality professionals; and delivering valuable connections to solution providers serving those industries.

 

Joe brought to EnsembleIQ deep experience in defining and optimizing industry-leading approaches to digital content creation, packaging, distribution, marketing, team organization and workflows--and executing to achieve results.


He joined EnsembleIQ as senior vice president of content to develop and execute a cohesive content strategy driving valuable digital behaviors. His work increased audience engagement with EnsembleIQ offerings, and the offerings of its customers. He also served as brand director of Path to Purchase IQ before being promoted to executive vice president of content, executive vice president, content and communications, and then chief strategy officer.

 

Before joining EnsembleIQ, Joe served as chief content officer of business information services provider Penton, helping lead the company’s digital transformation prior to being acquired by Informa for $1.6 billion. Prior experiences include serving as vice president, content at Newhouse Advance Local, and executive producer, Time Inc. New Media, where he managed digital design and production with Time, Money, Fortune, Sports Illustrated and People.
